Oh lord, you are my dwelling place
Whenever I am overwhelmed by my troubles, or in a situation where I find myself with no place to turn, I fall back on the promise that the Lord gave us that He is our dwelling place, and that beneath the shadow of His wings we can find comfort and shelter from the storms that rage around us. These words He gave me when I was going through such a time, and they were a real comfort to me, as I hope they will be to you too. God bless you, and peace be with you.
Oh lord, you are my dwelling place
Oh Lord, You are my dwelling place,
To which I run in time of need,
For I know that when I call to You,
My dry and thirsty soul You'll feed.
As I shelter beneath Your mighty wings,
I know You'll keep me safe from harm,
For when storms are raging all around,
You're a haven of peace and calm.
You are my fortress, safe and strong;
My God, in whom I trust,
And I know when foes attack me,
That You are faithful, true and just.
I know, in times of trouble,
That I can always run to You,
And I know that You'll protect me,
For all Your promises are true.
So, Lord, I give You the glory,
And the honour that is due Your name,
For I know that, now I am Your child,
My life will never be the same.
Yes, Father, I give my life to You,
To do with as You will,
And I pray that as I walk with You,
Your desire for me I will fulfil.
Then, when You send Your blessed Son
To claim His pure and spotless bride,
I pray that worthy I'll be found
In one of Your mansions to abide.
Yes indeed you are my dwelling and hiding place. Amen!!
A Moslem has died and has arrived in heaven
He is very excited as, all his life, he has longed to meet the Prophet Mohammed.
Having arrived at the Gates of Heaven, he meets a man with a beard.
'Are you Mohammed?' he asks
'No, my son. I am Peter.
Mohammed is higher up'
And he points him to a ladder that rises into the clouds
Delighted that Mohammed should be higher than Peter, he climbed the ladder in great strides.
He meets another bearded man.
Full of hope, he asks again, 'Are you Mohammed?'
'No, I am Jesus.
Mohammed is higher up still'
Mohammed higher than Jesus! The poor man can hardly contain his delight and climbs and climbs, ever higher.
Once again, he meets a man with a beard, and panting repeats his question: 'Are you Mohammed?'
'No, I am Moses.
Mohammed is higher still'
Exhausted but with heart full of joy, he continues to climb the ladder and, yet again, he meets a man with a beard.
'Are you Mohammed?' he gasps, as he is by now totally out of breath from all his climbing.
'No, my son. I am God. But you look exhausted.
Would you like a Coffee?'
'Oh, Yes please, my Lord'
God looks behind him, claps his hands and calls out:
'Mohammed, two coffees please'
Giggle....

We are sealed until the day of redemption
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Eph.4:30
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Eph.1:13
To lose your salvation makes God a liar.
Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1Jn.5:10-11
Why do people doubt their salvation?
They trust in feelings rather than the words of God.
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Prov.28:26
OSAS
Many Bible scholars denying OSAS. But Jesus Himself said,
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish;
and no one shall snatch them out of My hand," (John 10:27-28).
